Rowland Heights Reviews
Rating 3.62 out of 5 149 reviews
A great city known for its diverse Asian food and drink places. It's a pretty safe and great community that mostly consists of an Asian population (Primarily Chinese and Korean).
I moved to Rowland Heights 8 years ago, pre-COVID. Throughout the pandemic, there were many changes to the city, specifically the closing of stores, malls, and shifting of habits by the residents. I found the accessibility of stores, supermarkets, cultural merchandise and restaurants to be quite diverse. It is comfortable knowing my immigrant family has ties in this city that provides them a sense of familiarity with their hometowns as well as appreciation for other cultures. However, I do believe as a community, other than a young families, the residents rarely participate nor are they aware of community events and the benefits offered by the community hall. More awareness and support could be provided in order to improve community unity and friendliness.
Rowland heights has good food and good nightlife if you’re young and the nightlife is usually Yes Plaza. The downside is the drivers, they really suck driving here. Another downside is the crime rate. The property crime rate here is skyrocketing and violent crime depends.
