CLINTON High school is an incredible high school. It's a smaller sized school in the small village of Clinton Michigan. But you never feel like you're at a small school with the academics we offer. We have countless AP classes that are taught by amazing teachers. Also our sports are known to be amazing. CLINTON is a great school that should be more well known.
Overall, my experience at Clinton High School has been very positive. I have had the opportunity, only as a sophomore, to take 3 AP classes, 2 CP (College Prep) classes, and 1 honors class, with more on the way over the next two years. I have also had the opportunity to participate in leadership, community service, and other clubs, such as Student Government, NHS, and International Club, and all of these resources have been readily available to me and other students, making them easy to seek and fun to be part of. On the other side, I wish I could see a greater appreciation for the arts in the school environment, especially music. I am currently working with a few other students and administrative staff to get a theater program started, but it would be nice to have some more support.
It's a small, tight, community that is good for one on one experience in the classroom and with teachers. All sports teams are smaller and feel closer like family but almost too small where it feels like you are enclosed in one spot and stuck there. I would like to see more student involvement in sports games because that's where i feel the school thrives the most.
