Sophomore: My time at community college has been a really positive experience. The smaller classes made it easy to connect with my professors, who were always willing to help and actually cared about how I was doing. The campus has a friendly vibe, and I’ve met people from all kinds of backgrounds, which has made things more interesting. There are also a lot of resources like tutoring and career services that have been super helpful. Alum: The quality of education is better than other community colleges in the area. The specific department I was in prepared me well for the program I transferred into by getting prerequisites and core classes out of the way. Professors are understanding for the most part. Graduate Student: My experience at CCC was amazing! The Blackwood campus is so beautfiul and always clean. The appearance of the buildings definitely played a roll in encouraging my education. Most of my classes were in Halpern Hall, so I would usually get there an hour early to study before my classes. I loved how spacious the tables were arranged and how the walls in the study area were not walls at all, but windows. The people at the school were also great. I never heard anyone saying anything mean to anyone else; everyone was so nice to each other. Most of my peers made friends in their classes, including myself. I met two of my closest friends in my physics class, so I will always be grateful to CCC for introducing us to each other. I didn't have a single "bad" teacher, nor did I find any class unnecessarily difficult. The small class sizes allow students to be more personal with the teachers and ask more questions when they don't understand something. I would recommend CCC to everyone if I could.... Sophomore: I wish this wasn't a community college as much as I wanted it to be an actual college/university. I find comfort in the passage ways, the culture, school and campus life. Despite having to offer so much, I bet if there were dorms similar to the structure or the architect outside of the buildings, then I'd definitely put a lot of money into them. Not even the buildings attract my attention, its the library, study rooms, and the simply yet functioning devices they add in for the students and faculty. Benches, trees and greenhouses that is dedicated to the future student graduate that were passed from the student graduate that have studied her before and etc, etc. The tennis courts and workout rooms bring it all together. I have yet to try the swimming pool they have, but practicing tennis with a court like that deserves some recognition. Same goes with the gym at the school, granted it is small and not many machines, but people here respect it like it is their own which I admire.... Read 579 reviews

Plenty of diversity in terms of students which was good when trying to meet new people.
