The community at Ave is close-knit; people know each other, and there is a lot of intersection between different groups of people. The academics at Ave are excellent, forming you into a well-rounded individual. As an alumnus, it was not difficult for me to find a job after graduating, and all my friends who graduated with me had similar experiences getting jobs in the fields they wanted. Finally, the weather in Florida cannot be beat; it is so nice being able to be outside throughout the entire school year. Other: I am an incoming freshman for the 2025-2026 academic year and have committed to playing lacrosse for the school. In September 2024, I had the opportunity to visit campus for a weekend. I stayed in the dorms with two of my future lacrosse teammates, and the experience left a lasting impression on me. I was impressed by the students' positive attitudes and their knowledge of the college's facilities at St. Leo. The dorm I stayed in was modern and spacious, offering a comfortable environment. The cafeteria and food options were amazing, and I loved every meal. The lacrosse fields and training facilities exceeded my expectations. They were all within walking distance from the dorm, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I need to grow and excel over the next four years.
